Nashville is known for its colorful murals, tucked into pretty much every neighborhood around town. If you’re looking for the perfect backdrop to show off that baby bump, or take your first selfie as a family of three, here are a few of our favorites.
The flower mural on 12 South is a long-time classic! With bright colors and gorgeous petals, you’ll feel like you’re stepping into an actual field of daisies. You most likely won’t have to wait in line for a photo, either - and that’s always a plus.
While you’re in 12 South, stop and snap a pic behind Frothy Monkey at the “Nashville looks good on you” wall - perfect for welcoming your new addition to a great city!
If you’re on the East Side, Kelsey Montague (creator of all the #WhatLiftsYou murals around town) has the coolest installment we’ve ever seen - a hot air balloon mural, complete with an actual basket to hop inside!
We also love the big ole window on the side of Local Honey. Not exactly a mural, but the “You are ok” message is certainly selfie-worthy.
Dying for a Europe babymoon, but aren’t cleared to fly from your doula or obstetrician? Grab a selfie stick (or your partner!) and head to Centennial Park. You’ll have everyone thinking you’ve made it to the Parthenon. (Bonus: it’s also one of our favorite walking parks in the city!)
And finally, if you’re a Williamson County mama, downtown Franklin just got its first mural - aptly, it sports the phrase “We love Franklin!” It’s the perfect spot for the whole family to grab a photo, so next time you’ve got company, snap a photo and then make a day of downtown.
